Former U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly criticized Elon Musk’s decision to launch a new political party called the “America Party,” calling the move \u201cridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emphasizing America\u2019s long-standing two-party tradition, Trump said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
> \u201cOur system has always been bipartisan, and the emergence of a third party will only confuse voters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Musk\u2019s controversial decision to found a new party is seen as a direct reaction to Trump\u2019s tax bill\u2014a bill Musk claims is putting the U.S. economy on the path to bankruptcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, Trump also reacted to the appointment of Jared Isaacman, CEO of space company SpaceAdam and a close friend of Elon Musk, as the new head of NASA, calling the move \u201cinappropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
> \u201cSomeone with business interests tied to NASA should not be running the agency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, investment firm Azoria Partners announced it would postpone the public offering of the Tesla Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) until further notice. The company stated that Musk\u2019s political engagement conflicts with his executive responsibilities at Tesla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Musk\u2019s creation of a new political party has sparked widespread reactions across U.S. political and economic circles.
